Roman Porphyry And Marble Statue Apollo God Statue With Lyre

How did Apollo’s harp come from?

Hermes stole Apollo’s cow on the day he was born. The angry Apollo wanted to teach this half-brother who didn’t know how to do it. But the two finally reconciled under the adjustment of the gods and became the best partners. Hermes is a genius inventor. His inventions include scales, weights and measures, and various sports. He stretched the intestines of the sacred cow on the tortoise shell to create a lyre. Later, he gave the piano to Apollo as compensation for his bad behavior. Since then, Apollo has been in charge of music and rhythm. And Hermes has therefore become the protector of thieves and merchants. Because he exchanged the lyre for Apollo’s cattle, this was the early form of bartering trade.
