Crouching Aphrodite, Venus, the god of love and beauty. Lifesize: 0.71 meters in height.

This is a Roman replica of a Greek sculpture with modifications: the goddess’s left hand stretched out to the back of her neck, and her right hand was held in front of her chest. The shape was graceful and elegant. It is now in the Louvre.

Crouching Aphrodite Louvre

Her sacred plants include rose, poppy, pomegranate, myrtle, quince, clover, and water mint. Her holy day is Friday, and some special holidays related to her are April 1, April 23, and July 19.
