A year is divided into four seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter. In mythology, each season is guarded by a goddess, giving the world a corresponding seasonal climate: spring by the goddess of revival, summer by the goddess of sunshine, autumn by the goddess of life, and winter by the goddess of ice and snow.
Thus the four goddesses took turns, coming to the world once a year and bringing with them a different season. Everything went well for many years, but one day, when the Snow Goddess came back, she became very unhappy, and the other three goddesses did not know why, but felt that she was beginning to grow away from them.
The goddess of recovery was a little bit late because she was worried about the goddess of ice. When she came to the world, she found that this year’s winter was very cold. Many people and creatures died because of the cold, and all things lost their vitality. The goddess of recovery saw this, immediately began to perform duties, calling the arrival of spring, instantly, the frozen earth began to melt, vegetation began to sprout, the sky haze gradually dispersed, long time not to see the sun finally smiling face. The people of the earth also became alive, they gave thanks for the arrival of spring and hailed the end of the bitter winter.
