Relief is a kind of sculpture in which concave and convex images are carved on a plane. It is an artistic expression form between round sculpture and painting. The spatial structure of the relief can be a three-dimensional shape, or it can have a certain plane shape; it can be attached to a certain carrier, but also can exist relatively independently.
