Hercules was the greatest hero of ancient Greek mythology. The son of Zeus and Alcmene, he was born with great strength. But because of his birth, he was hated by Hera, the wife of Zeus, so he was cursed by Hera, which led him to kill his child in his madness. To atone for his SINS, he completed 12 “impossible” tasks
The final task is to fight the dogs of Hell and bring back Cerberus, the guardian dog of Pluto. The dog had three heads, its mouth dripping with poison, and the tail of a dragon. The hair on its head and back was coiled with venomous snakes.

Hades, the god of the underworld, stood at the gate of the city of the dead and stopped Hercules from entering. Hercules shot an arrow that hit Hades in the shoulder, causing him to jump and cry like a mortal. He had suffered, so when Hercules asked him to hand over the dog Cerberus, Hercules did not refuse, but made one condition: that he should not use weapons. Hercules agreed. He went out in breastplate and lion’s skin to catch the fierce dog. At the mouth of the river Styx, he saw the three-headed dog.
It raised its three heads and growled furiously, echoing like thunder. He clasped three of the dog’s heads between his legs, and flung his arms round its neck to prevent it from escaping; but the dog’s tail, which was quite a live dragon, tried to lash him and bite him. Hercules still clenched at the dog’s neck, and at last he subdued the fierce dog. He lifted up the dog and led it out of the underworld, returning to the higher world by another exit near trutzion in agolis. When Cerberus, the dog of hell, saw the sun, he was so afraid that he spat out his poison saliva and dropped it on the ground, where aconite, a highly poisonous plant, grew. Hercules bound Cerberus with a chain, took him to Tiyens, and gave him to Eurystheus. Eurystheus was so surprised that he could hardly believe his eyes. He finally believed that he could not get rid of this son of Zeus. He resigned himself to his fate and told Hercules to send the hell-hound back to the lower world to his master.
